Seniors of the Month

Taytum Daniels

Taytum DanielsSchool activities and awards: Spanish Club President, Spanish National Honor Society President, National Honor Society Vice President, Student Government Representative, ROC Member, Student Section Co-Leader, CBC Honor Student, Prom Princess.

If I were principal for a day: I would put a 1-hour napping period into our schedules.

Favorite school memory: Mrs. Davis gave her art students the opportunity to have their artworks displayed at the Columbus College of Art and Design, and made a whole field trip out of it. We got to go to the Columbus Museum of Art, where I got to see my first Monet, along with visiting the Franklin Park Conservatory.

My biggest regret: Not participating in clubs sooner.
Next year I will be: Majoring in Psychology at either Miami University or The Ohio State University.

Kameron Lockwood

Kameron LockwoodFavorite school memory: My favorite school memory is a tough choice, but I think I’ll have to go with the time when our robotics team qualified for the State Championship after a very close match in the 2023-2024 school year.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My Robotics coaches (Mrs. Kavanagh and Mr. Smith), my Quiz Bowl coach (Mr. Kettler), and my parents.
Lately, I have been reading: I have recently been reading the book “Santana”for my Spanish class, which I have been enjoying.
My advice to parents: Having a good, supportive relationship with your kids is key (environment as well), I would say. My parents have always supported and encouraged me in whatever I have chosen and I feel that that has really enabled me to do all of
these things. Without that, the rest would certainly be harder.

Next year I will be: In college for Computer Science.
