Welcome to Benjamin Logan High School

Benjamin Logan High School is a public, four-year comprehensive high school. The average student enrollment is 150 students per graduating class. Benjamin Logan is fully accredited by

 the State of Ohio Department of Education. It is a member of the consortium of local high schools comprising of the Ohio Hi-Point Career Center. Students may attend the career center on a full time or part time basis their junior and senior year, to enroll in specialized vocational programs.

CAREER SPEAKER April 19 - matt overturf

Matt Overturf is a 2007 graduate of Benjamin Logan High School and a 2011 graduate of Wittenberg University where he majored in Political Science with a minor in Business.

Following his graduation from Wittenberg University, he was accepted in to the Legislative Fellowship Program at the Ohio Statehouse.  While in this capacity, he had the opportunity to be a Legislative Aide for several representatives.  At the end of this program, he was hired as a Legislative Aide and Clerk of the Ohio House Health & Aging Committee before moving to the Speaker’s office as the Deputy Budget Director.  

In January 2015, he accepted a position with Ohio Public Employees Retirement where he is currently serving as the External Relations Officer. In this capacity, Matt is part of the Executive Leadership Team advising on government relations issues and managing the organization’s communication department.

Matt and his wife, Amy reside in Columbus.  In his spare time Matt enjoys home remodeling, traveling and spending time with his family and his dog Willett.
