Career Accomplishments
39 Years in Education as a Coach, Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent
Graduate of the University of Findlay where he was a member of the Football and Baseball teams
Has worked in the following Schools throughout his career: Cory-Rawson, St. Marys, Huntsville,
Buckeye Local, Belle Center, Indian Lake & Benjamin Logan
Superintendent at Benjamin Logan while the High School was being completed
Superintendent when the Elementary and Middle School Buildings were built and was instrumental in the layout of the current Benjamin Logan Campus
An avid fan and supporter of Benjamin Logan Schools and Athletics from its development and
has also supported local youth teams and upcoming athletes in the area
Mr. Spencer is very humble and is the first to say “I am only a part of this process and the district.
It has taken everyone involved in the community to develop this school system and the buildings
we have. I was delighted to be involved as a coach, teacher, principal, and superintendent for
many years, but it belongs to the people and community. They are the ones that made it happen
and I am pleased to have worked and been a part of this process.”
