Benjamin Logan High School offers several opportunities for advancement. They include, but is not limited to:

Career Connections & School-To-Work- These educational programs in which the school and business join together to provide seniors with an apprenticeship experience. The apprenticeship affords the student an opportunity to learn desired occupational skills that will enhance and enrich their classroom learning and facilitate the transition from school to the workplace. Students must meet grade and attendance requirements to participate in these programs.

Ohio Hi-Point Career Center- The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center (OHP), located Bellefontaine, offers high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to receive career-technical training in thirteen different career fields. Sophomores will be invited to tour the facility each fall.  For more information, visit the OHPCC website.

College Credit Plus- College Credit Plus (CCP) allows high school students to earn college credit and apply that credit toward their high school graduation requirements. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students. Taking a college course (either online, on campus, or at Benjamin Logan High School) from a public college or university is free (no cost for tuition, books, and/or fees) for those involved in the CCP program.  

Credit Flex- The requirements for graduation from high school include earning twenty-four credits in grades nine through twelve. However, no student shall be required to remain in school for any specific number of semesters or other terms if the student completes the required curriculum early. To earn credits for graduation, students may complete scheduled coursework, test out or demonstrate mastery of course content, and/or pursue one or more educational options in accordance with the District’s Credit Flexibility Program.
 
P.E. Waiver- Students who participate in interscholastic athletics, marching band, and/or cheerleading for at least two full seasons while enrolled in grades 9-12, and as documented by the principal, may be excused from the high school physical education class. Applications are available in the Guidance Office. They must be submitted prior to intended seasons of participation. Seasons are defined as Fall, Winter, and Spring.
